A new iPod Touch
Posted on 08. Feb, 2009 by John in Technology
I received an iPod Touch for my birthday this weekend, so I thought I’d write about some things I’ve learned in the 2 days I’ve had it so far.The free WordPress app is great… in fact I’m using it right now to write this post. Ok, so I’ve switched over to my macbook to finish writing this, I must admit.
Some more helpful tips and info on apps for the iPod Touch can be found at my buddy Jordan’s blog at the following links…

Bottom line is that I like this device so far. There are some annoyances/quirks that I haven’t quite ironed out for myself yet so I’ll be posting about those soon.
One other big issue that I needed to resolve before buying this thing was accountability on the web. I use CovenantEyes software on all the computers I use, but they do not have a version for the iPhone/iPod Touch yet, however I did find that Safeeyes.com provided some software that is good enough for me currently, but I’ll blog about my dealings with that in another post as well.
Good night and may you know that Christ Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and is coming again like a thief in the night.

I really enjoy my iPod Touch. There are simply so many different things you can use it for from listening to music (the intended purpose) all the way to using is as a level. As the commercial says, “There’s an app for that!”.
I’m sure you’ll find it as useful, if not more, than I do. Let me know if you find any neat apps!
