COTweet OS X App via Fluid (and any other web app for that matter)

Fluid is an unbelievable Mac OS X application that allows you to paste in an url, choose an icon and then create an application from it. It truly is an amazing app.

Here are some great implementations and icons to use for them.

  1. COTweet… it doesn’t have an OS X app, but, to be honest, with Fluid there is no need for one.
  2. Facebook… if you use it you’ll understand the benefit to this.
  3. WordPress Admin Panel. Oh yea, seriously handy for all those bloggers out there. It’s an app for your admin panel and it works great.

Icons to use for these apps…
UPDATE: Here are some links to sites for Fluid icons, which also double as ideas for using Fluid.

Cons…

Some web applications don’t work because all of the links open in your default browser.

If you know of any other cool features of Fluid please let me know by commenting below.

Kyle… yea man, the "olive" theme is for sure set! :D
How do you get the growl notifications and badges working, is there a plugin needed?

Some applications like CoTweet also integrate growl notifications and dock badges to display additional information. Very cool stuff! I also recommend going to Preferences -> Appearance and selecting "Mobile Me (olive)" from the window style dropdown.

Want an OS X app for a web application that doesn’t have an app like COTweet, Facebook or your WordPress admin panel? http://bit.ly/cBNzJ
