First Impressions of Google Chrome for Mac

I don’t know if this will last, but so far Google Chrome Beta for the Mac is, well…

  • Extraordinarily Fast to startup!
  • Quicker to load pages than Safari.

And being able to search from the address bar (? + L) is VERY convenient. It’s one of my favorite things about Google Chrome in general.

So far I like it, but Safari is still my default browser, for now.

Anyone else install it? What did ya think?

    Dear Google,

Google Chrome needs to interface with Apple’s Dictionary like Safari does by allowing the user to hit (ctrl+?+d) to pop up the dictionary definition of the word that is currently hovered over by the cursor.

Ok, there are definitely some issues still.

    1. Loading of pages sometimes does not happen and there is no good reason for it at all.

    2. Please make it so that we have the option to change the keyboard shortcut to switch between tabs to (?+option+left/right arrow key).

    Anyone else have any suggestions?
