IntenseDebate WordPress Plugin is great!

I found out about the IntenseDebate commenting system from the Collide Podcast yesterday.  IntenseDebate is a commenting system that works for different types of Blogging systems like WordPress.

It is like comments on steroids.
Some useful features of it that I have found have been…
  • Threaded comments so that you can tell who is replying to who.
  • Seamlessly converts all of your current comments without a problem.
  • Commenters can now add embedded youtube videos.
  • I (and commenters) can now add polls.
  • All of the expected spam filtering features.
  • Rating of the comments by thumbs up or down.
  • User reputations.
  • Automatic tweeting of your comment.
