Maximize Windows on Your Mac With Cinch – FINALLY
Posted on 09. Jan, 2010 by John in Technology
FINALLY, the ability to maximize windows on your Mac. And it’s free (if you don’t mind a pop up every once in a while asking you to purchase it). But, if you like it I’d suggest paying the $7 (a very reasonable price) for the feature that should have been added to OS X years ago.
There’s a screencast on the developer’s page (above) that gives you the skinny on what the app can do.

Examples of how I’ve been using it:
- Maximize apps like iTunes, Mail, Safari. Oh, what a joy. I actually hid my dock just to get more out of my screen.
- Maximize Logos Bible software to the left and right of the screen.
- Use with Logic Pro 8 to help maximize my screen usage.
Honestly, this is probably the most useful day to day app I’ve found in a long time. And yes, I bought a license for it.
Thanks Irradiated Software, well done!
In Christ
