WriteRoom… distraction free writing

If you like to write using your Mac computer to get your thoughts out, but are easily distracted by the Dock, menu bar or anything else in OS X than WriteRoom by Hog Bay Software will help you stay focused.

I’ve been using it now for the past week or so and it truly helps me stay focused.  It simply blacks out the screen and allows you to type freely.  There is no formatting, but honestly, when I’m looking to just get my thoughts out I don’t worry about formatting.

I actually messed with the settings, changing colors and the like, but came back to the default of black screen and green text.  ;)
